As a native of Colorado, Lynnea Ortiz first got into the title and escrow business in Denver with Security Title, beginning as a receptionist and working her way up to Escrow Officer in six years. She moved to Santa Fe and went to work for LaMerle Boyd, then owner of Capitol City Title. After 14 years and various ownership changes, Lynnea yearned for the local aspect of business which has brought her here. Lynnea has closed numerous subdivisions including Tierra Contenta, one of the largest in the area. Lynnea offers a Team Experience which has included James Lucero for 13 years and also includes Marco Ortiz, Lynnea’s husband, who is a senior title examiner in the office. Customers comment on the team experience and how great it is being able to reach one of them at all times. Lynnea is also chair of numerous committees for both SFAHBA (homebuilders) and SFAR. She was named 2006 Associate of the Year for SFAHBA. Her free time is spent enjoying her family.
